About Mr. Wence:
Mr. Wence joins the firm after more that 24 years of experience as a commercial litigator and advisor in business and corporate matters. He also has over 10 years of experience in international commercial transactions and dispute resolution. His commercial experience includes plaintiff, defense and transactional representation in all aspects of business law. He also has extensive experience in the protection of intellectual property trademarks both in the United States and worldwide.

Before joining the firm, Mr. Wence was a shareholder/partner with the commercial law firm of McGrath, North, Mullin & Kratz in Omaha, Nebraska for 22 years.

Mr. Wence is a member of the State Bar of Arizona and admitted to practice in both state and federal courts. He is a member of the State Bars of Nebraska, Colorado and Arkansas and admitted to the state and federal courts of those jurisdictions. Mr. Wence is also licensed in the U.S. Supreme Court and the U.S. Court of International Trade.

Representative Cases :

  • Successfully defended a national research laboratory in multi-million dollar federal litigation concerning long term environmental remediation work in Illinois, Nebraska, Kansas and Arizona.
  • Represented the world’s largest agricultural irrigation manufacturer in multiple lawsuits and arbitration actions throughout the United States and worldwide; including litigation matters in Pakistan, the U.A.E., Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Hungary.
  • Defended large food manufacturer in products liability personal injury litigation in Arizona and elsewhere.
  • Represented a large telecom/computer services company on a worldwide basis concerning intellectual property protection, corporate subsidiary creation and maintenance, contract dispute resolution and general business strategy and liability avoidance.
  • Successfully defended a large U.S. grain export company in a contract dispute involving litigation in France, Syria, and the United States. The French litigation culminated in the Supreme Court of France resulting in a significant change to French contract law concerning privity of contract liability.
  • Advised an animal feed additive company from start-up through ultimate company sale to one of the world’s largest animal feed and pharmaceutical companies.
  • Served as appellate counsel in civil cases in the Supreme Courts of Nebraska and Colorado.
